Gary Tyler, a former political prisoner who spent more than four decades in Louisiana prisons before his release, is hosting book signing events in Detroit and Cleveland. The appearances come ahead of an upcoming gallery show in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where his artwork will be featured. The events mark a new chapter for Tyler, who has drawn attention for his art and his account of one of America's longest wrongful imprisonment cases.
