Gulfsat

Kuwaiti satellite operator Gulfsat has chosen Arqiva and its UK ground station sites to add geographical diversification to its satellite operations. The partnership means Gulfsat will use British infrastructure for telemetry, tracking and control or related ground services, spreading its reliance beyond its home region. The move is being covered in space industry media as an example of operators hedging risk across geographically separated ground segments.
