Hacker Noon

A Hacker Noon essay argues that Firefox did not simply lose the browser wars but that Mozilla gradually conceded ground through its own choices. Readers are reacting less to the criticism of Mozilla than to what the piece says about typical internet users' habits, calling the picture it paints of user behaviour disturbing. The debate touches on how browsers, and the people who use them, ended up where they are today.
