Hamirpur

District magistrates across Uttar Pradesh are in the news for on-ground administrative action. In Siwan's Aandar block, a DM honoured elderly residents, calling senior citizens a heritage of society rather than a burden. In another district, a DM expressed displeasure that a veterinary team failed to visit a gaushala and sought an explanation from the village secretary over missing records. Other regional coverage includes TB patient screening in Amethi, teacher misconduct claims in Hamirpur, and a Bundelkhand statehood campaign in Jhansi.
