Families gathered at the Hawaii State Capitol for Youth Day, an event that coincided with the University of Hawaii concluding a cross-cultural dance showcase. The program featured performances drawing on multiple cultural traditions, and attendees included children and parents taking part in the day's activities. The university's dance show wrapped up as part of the festivities, giving young people a chance to experience performances from different communities across the state.
