Helmondsingel

The Dutch municipality of Deurne is drawing attention after a series of local incidents. A ProRail employee warned that children have been placing stones on the railway tracks, calling the rail line no playground, a concern echoed by national outlets and children's news programme Jeugdjournaal. Separately, a collision between a car and a truck on the N270 closed the road toward Venray and Helmond, and another crash on the Helmondsingel left people injured, prompting a trauma helicopter. Local media also reported possible fireworks ban exceptions in three Brabant municipalities.
