Herb Boyd

Writer and activist Herb Boyd has published a commentary arguing that the United States' decades-long blockade of Cuba constitutes an act of war. Writing for the Institute of the Black World 21st Century, he frames the embargo as ongoing aggression against the Cuban people rather than a mere policy dispute. The piece adds to longstanding debate over US-Cuba relations and renewed criticism of the embargo.
