Horst Fascher

Horst Fascher, the Hamburg club figure credited with helping launch the Beatles' early career, has died at the age of 90. Fascher was a former boxer who ran the Star Club on the Reeperbahn, where the Beatles played hundreds of shows in the early 1960s before their international breakthrough. German outlets are remembering him as a key witness to the band's formative years and an important figure in Hamburg's music history.
