Howie Long

Howie Long, the Hall of Fame defensive end and longtime Fox Sports analyst, is drawing renewed attention as discussion builds around the Las Raiders' strong form. Commentary on Fox Sports programming, including Colin Cowherd's argument that the Raiders look like a playoff team, has put the franchise and its famous alumni back in the conversation among NFL fans.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! World Entertainment has appointed Howie Noel as the new cartoonist for its long-running syndicated feature, the company announced. The appointment puts Noel in charge of illustrating the iconic panel known for its strange facts and unbelievable stories, a role carried by only a handful of artists in the franchise's history. The announcement was picked up by multiple US news outlets and wire services.
