India Global Review

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he held a productive conversation with President Donald Trump, reviewing bilateral cooperation in trade, defence, energy and critical technologies. Both leaders agreed to maintain close engagement to advance the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. The exchange of views comes as the two countries continue negotiations over trade and tariff issues that have strained relations in recent months.

Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Cyprus Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The two reviewed steady progress in bilateral cooperation and India-EU ties, exchanged views on regional challenges, and reaffirmed opposition to the illegal occupation of their territories.
