Italian Fencing Federation

Diana Bianchedi, the former Olympic fencing champion, has resigned from her role as head of delegation of the Italian national fencing team. The news comes after tensions with sports minister Andrea Abodi, who had publicly criticised her. The resignation is drawing attention in Italy and raising questions about the relationship between the federation and government.
