Jan Jarboe Russell

Texas Monthly has published a tribute to Jan Jarboe Russell, the Texas author and journalist best known for writing about the state's history and culture, who has died. The piece, written by colleagues, praises her as a widely admired writer and reporter and, above all, as a devoted friend, recalling her generosity and long career in letters.
