Jane Case

A student known as Jane Doe says Cornell president Michael Kotlikoff doubted her gang-rape claim, leaving her feeling 'unsupported and disbelieved' in a letter sent to faculty leaders. Separately, the University of Arizona is investigating a reported sexual assault of a student by two men at a fraternity house. Both cases have drawn national coverage and renewed scrutiny of how university leaders handle campus sexual assault complaints.

A former Cornell University student, identified in reports as Jane Doe, has sent a letter to faculty leaders saying she felt unsupported by the institution. The letter, reported by UPI, has drawn attention to how the university handled her case and is prompting discussion about institutional responsibility toward students who raise complaints.
