KelpFest

KelpFest is taking place on the Mendocino Coast in Northern California, combining kelp-focused science, art and food in a community celebration of the region's kelp forests. The event highlights local interest in kelp ecosystems, which have faced significant declines along the California coast, and gives residents a chance to learn about restoration and research while enjoying cultural activities.
