Kento Shikai

Japan's football team saw a match decided on a penalty shootout, with substitute Kento Shikai brought on in the 41st minute of the second half but not needed as the shootout ended before his turn at seventh kicker came. He joked afterward that he asked coach Moriyasu, 'Do I look bad at penalties?' Meanwhile FIFA rankings shifted, with Switzerland rising past Germany and Australia climbing despite a defeat.
