A new app called Lathoa teaches children maths by having its AI assistant deliberately make mistakes for kids to catch and correct. The maker shared the launch with the Hacker News community, where it drew attention for the unusual teaching method, with commenters discussing whether spotting errors helps children learn more deeply than receiving correct answers.
