LightSail

The Planetary Society has released an artist's concept of a coilable stacked solar sail, a lightweight propulsion design in which multiple sails can be compactly coiled for launch and unfurled in space. Solar sails use sunlight pressure for propulsion without fuel, and stacking could allow larger reflective surfaces than current single-sail craft like LightSail.
