Lionfish Challenge

Florida's annual Lionfish Challenge, run by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, drew record participation this year, setting a new benchmark for the competition. The event encourages divers and anglers to remove invasive lionfish from state waters, and the surge in entrants means more of the destructive species were taken out of the ecosystem than ever before.
