Mansfield Symphony

The Mansfield Symphony is presenting a concert program dedicated to video game music, performing orchestral arrangements of scores from popular games. The performance brings together the worlds of classical music and gaming, reflecting the growing popularity of game soundtracks as concert material for orchestras and their audiences.

The Mansfield Symphony is running a program that gives students a chance to experience orchestral music through movement, going beyond simply sitting and listening. Details of how the sessions work and how many students are taking part were not immediately available, but the initiative highlights ongoing efforts by regional orchestras to bring live classical music to younger audiences in an engaging, participatory way.
