The March 2025 full moon, known as the Worm Moon, was visible this week, and NASA shared a new image of it taken in the New Orleans area near the Michoud Assembly Facility. The agency's Marshall Space Flight Center posted the photo as part of its ongoing coverage of lunar events tied to NASA's moon exploration efforts. Viewers shared the image widely as skywatchers caught the eclipse-tinged full moon.
