The long-running stick-figure webcomic Matchstick Cats released its 853rd episode, titled 'Bases Covered', playing on baseball and cricket terminology with its usual cast of comedic cats. The strip is shared with tags aimed at cat lovers and sports fans, continuing the comic's habit of mixing animal humour with ball-game gags.
