Cybersecurity firm Mazebolt has launched a radar validation service for Akamai's DDoS protection, according to SC Media. The service is designed to independently verify that Akamai's distributed denial-of-service defences perform as expected against real-world attack conditions. Coverage so far has been limited to the announcement itself, with no published analysis of how the validation works or which customers are using it.
