Modo, the name most closely associated with the Swedish ice hockey club Modo Hockey from Örnsköldsvik, is circulating widely in Sweden right now. The club, known for producing players like the Sedin twins, has a passionate fanbase, and any match result, transfer or league news involving Modo typically sparks strong local reaction. Beyond the sports connection, Modo is also the name of a transport app, so the buzz could relate to either brand.
