Mushtodon

Nature photographers are sharing mushroom pictures under recurring Friday hashtags such as FungiFriday and Mushtodon, swapping close-up shots of fungi from woods and fields. The format invites amateur and expert photographers alike to post their latest finds, with followers responding to images of unusual shapes, colors and textures spotted on forest floors.

Nature photographers are sharing images of the panther amanita, a spotted mushroom known in Dutch as panteramaniet, as part of the weekly FungiFriday and Mushtodon photo traditions. The posts celebrate autumn mushroom season and draw appreciation from wildlife and photography communities online.
