China's National Development and Reform Commission says it will increase support for emerging pillar industries, projecting output above 10 trillion yuan (about 1.4 trillion USD) by 2030, nearly double last year's figure. The announcement highlights strong semiconductor momentum: integrated circuit output reached 442.8 billion units in the first three quarters, up 23.3 per cent year on year.
