LED maker Brightek is reported to be running short on chips as a global memory supply squeeze tightens availability across the electronics industry. At the same time, Chinese automakers are lining up to secure capacity at a planned Nantong plant, as carmakers scramble for semiconductor supply to keep production lines running.
