Arm is broadening its business model beyond licensing its Neoverse core IP and compute subsystem designs to selling fully finished server processors, aimed at artificial general intelligence applications. The shift, reported by DigiTimes Asia, would put Arm in direct competition with its own licensing customers such as chipmakers building server CPUs on Arm technology.
