Nonaka Minami

Japanese surfers Igarashi Kanoa and Ikeda Miku won gold medals at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, with Ikeda taking the women's title and Nonaka Minami earning bronze. Their victories secured conditional Olympic qualification spots for the Los Angeles 2028 Games. Ikeda, from Omaezaki in Shizuoka Prefecture, celebrated the win as a major step toward the Olympics.
