Steve Winter's famous camera-trap image of P-22, the mountain lion living in Los Angeles' Griffith Park, is being credited with helping reshape attitudes toward urban wildlife in the city. The 2013 photo turned the isolated puma into a local icon, building support for wildlife crossings and conservation measures, including the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing over the 101 freeway.
