Pacific walrus

Nine years ago, on October 3, 2017, the Trump administration declined to grant endangered species protection to 25 imperiled species. Those refused listing included the Pacific walrus, Florida Keys mole skink, Bicknell's thrush and Kirtland's snake, among others. Environmental advocates are recalling the decision on social media, using it to criticise the administration's wildlife and conservation record.
