Parthiv Patel

Indian cricket's selection panel is in flux after Sunil Joshi's/Agrarkar's tenure ended, with the BCCI yet to finalise a new chief selector ahead of the New Zealand tour. Reports say Pragyan Ojha is among the candidates who could pick the India squad for the tour, while Parthiv Patel has reportedly turned down the chief selector role. Fans are debating who will take charge of selections.

Former India wicketkeeper-batter Parthiv Patel has been cleared to take over the role being vacated by Ajit Agarkar, according to ABP News reporting in Hindi. The announcement confirms that the ex-player will step into Agarkar's position, a move drawing attention from cricket fans across India as discussions continue about what the change means for the side going forward.

Former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel has reportedly declined an offer to become the chairman of the national selection committee. According to a Rediff report, Patel rejected the senior BCCI position, though the article indicates no detailed explanation for his decision was given. The development comes as Indian cricket administrators work to fill key selection roles.

Former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel reportedly chose not to apply for the BCCI chief selector position, despite the role offering a pay package of around Rs 3 crore. The decision has drawn attention in Indian cricket circles, with fans and commentators curious why a prominent former player would pass up one of the most influential administrative roles in the sport.
