Pesaro

Italian news is leading with crime and unrest stories. In Milan, lawyer Cathy La Torre said that not making it to the end of the month is a form of violence just as much as smashing shop windows, following clashes in the city. Elsewhere, thieves raided a jeweller's in Pesaro overnight, ripping open a safe with a split technique and taking it away, while in Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri's administration reported a man who stole electricity to power his flat.

Another wolf attack has hit a livestock farm in Monteciccardo, in the Pesaro area of Marche. Local farmers' association Coldiretti Pesaro has raised the alarm, saying such attacks are becoming frequent and calling for action to protect herds and farmers' livelihoods.
