Ponytail

A small open-source project called Ponytail, published on GitHub by developer Dietrich Gebert, is getting attention for its unusual premise: making AI coding agents avoid writing code in the first place. Its tagline says it makes an AI agent 'think like the laziest senior dev in the room', arguing the best code is the code you never wrote. It is written in JavaScript and is being shared among developers interested in minimal, restraint-driven approaches to AI-assisted programming.
