The Théâtre national de Strasbourg has joined the decentralised social network Mastodon, and the account reseauculture.fr welcomed it publicly. The theatre thanked the community for the reception and shared its first post, calling it a busy week. The welcome message drew modest engagement from theatre fans in the region.

The Comédie de Caen, a major theatre in Normandy, France, has joined the fediverse, the network of decentralised social platforms. Announcement of the arrival was warmly shared by users, with commentary noting that amateur theatre fans are being well served by the growing number of cultural institutions joining the network. It is part of a broader trend of French cultural organisations establishing a presence outside mainstream commercial platforms.
