Roughriders

The Montreal Alouettes host the Saskatchewan Roughriders in a CFL matchup, with linebacker Julian Howsare in line to make his first appearance for Montreal. Howsare's addition has drawn attention ahead of the game, as the Alouettes look to strengthen their defence against a Saskatchewan side looking to make a statement on the road.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have placed a former Louisville quarterback, who converted to wide receiver in the NFL, on their CFL negotiation list. The move gives the Riders exclusive CFL rights to negotiate with the player should he become available. Fans of the team have been sharing the news online, speculating about whether he might make the jump to Canadian football.
