SNTPings

A tool called SNTPings from the University of Twente allows people to draw pictures on a shared canvas by sending ICMPv6 ping packets, turning ordinary network traffic into pixels. The project is being shared and discussed in networking and tech communities as a playful demonstration of how underlying internet protocols can be repurposed for something creative and educational.
