Shimane Prefecture

Weather officials in Japan say high pressure is bringing exceptionally clear autumn weather, but yellow dust blowing in from the Asian continent could reach Tottori and Shimane prefectures. Forecasts of kosa, or yellow sand, at this time of year are drawing attention as residents are advised to watch for hazy skies and airborne dust.
