Simon & Garfunkel

Daily Kos has published its regular Sunday morning open thread, this week featuring music by Simon & Garfunkel. The post invites readers to chat freely in the comments while the classic folk duo's songs set the mood. Little substantive discussion is evident from the posting itself, as engagement figures are not available.

A new retrospective review takes a fresh look at Mike Nichols' 1967 classic "The Graduate," the Dustin Hoffman film that defined a generation's anxieties about adulthood, love and expectation. The piece reassesses the film's comedy, Simon & Garfunkel soundtrack and famously ambiguous ending, inviting readers to reconsider how its themes hold up more than five decades later.
