Stanford Digital Brain Project

Stanford University has announced the Stanford Digital Brain Project, an initiative aiming to create a digital model of the human brain. Details on funding, partners or timelines have not been released beyond the announcement. The project, if successful, could give researchers a new tool for studying how the brain works and for testing ideas about neurological disease computationally rather than experimentally.
