State Farm Stadium

The United States defeated Mexico 3-0 in a friendly match played at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, with teenager Sullivan among the standouts. Mexico, coached by Rafa Márquez, looked erratic and the coach remains without a win. The large Mexican fan presence in the stadium did not change the result, extending the US advantage in the Concacaf rivalry, with more matches expected between the two sides.
