Symbotic

Walmart has committed roughly $6 billion to automate 25 of its US distribution centers in partnership with robotics firm Symbotic. The deal will bring Symbotic's warehouse automation systems into Walmart's supply chain network, aiming to speed up inventory handling and improve efficiency as retailers invest heavily in logistics technology.

The agreement ranks among the larger automation commitments by a major US retailer.
