Critics accuse the pair of mutual back-scratching, citing concerns about nepotism, protection, AI regulation and alleged self-dealing, and mock their claims of trustworthiness.

Critics are calling out Donald Trump over ongoing legal battles with special counsel Jack Smith, accusations of sedition and coverups, and demands for the release of the so-called Trump Epstein files. Commenters argue corruption and political chaos are on public display and accuse mainstream media of sanewashing events and failing to report reality accurately.

A social media post criticizing a wave of pro-Trump advertising on television and other media is drawing attention. The post, shared on Mastodon, describes the ads as dark, delusional propaganda portraying Donald Trump as uniquely great, and mentions receiving promotional texts as well. The poster says they will not respond to the messages. The item reflects ongoing frustration among some users with the volume of political advertising in the US.

Opponents of Donald Trump are circulating a cluster of critical hashtags lumping together accusations of war crimes, corruption, nepotism and a coverup involving the Epstein files.
