The developers of Turbobulls, a portfolio and spending tracker, have launched the app with a privacy-first design: encryption keys are generated on the user's device from their password, so portfolio and wallet data arrive on company servers already encrypted and unreadable by the company. They are also being candid about the limits, admitting users must still trust the served code and that the app is not open source.
