Turcotto

A cliff face has given way at Turcotto in Anzio, on the Lazio coast near Rome, following days of severe weather. Italian public broadcaster Rai News published drone footage showing the extent of the collapse along the coastline. The Italian word 'cedimento', meaning collapse or subsidence, is circulating as people follow images of the rockfall and concern grows about coastal erosion and safety in the area.
