Researchers at the University of California, Riverside say Saturn's moon Enceladus could offer clues about whether life exists beyond Earth. The frozen moon has a subsurface ocean that vents material into space, making it a promising target in the search for extraterrestrial life, and the findings are drawing attention among scientists and space enthusiasts.

A University of California, Riverside physicist has been selected as an experimental physics investigator by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. The appointment recognizes the researcher's work in experimental physics and comes with support from the foundation's investigator program, which funds leading scientists. The announcement was shared via a research news release.
