Vertou

The town of Vertou, south-east of Nantes, is being searched and talked about locally. Nearby Sainte-Pazanne is preparing for the Foulées de Notre-Dame, a running event described by Ouest-France as fun and family-oriented. Little further detail is available, and it is not confirmed what specific news is driving interest in Vertou itself.

MSC Cruises' chief executive is speaking out on the cruise industry's most contentious issues: overtourism in port cities, shipping emissions and how cruise travel will evolve. His remarks address growing pressure on cruise lines from coastal communities and regulators, and outline how the company plans to balance fleet growth with environmental commitments and better management of passenger flows at popular destinations.
