Iron Mountain has added ViaTeK Solutions to its IT asset disposition (ITAD) business, according to a report by Resource Recycling. The deal expands Iron Mountain's capabilities in secure electronics recycling and asset retirement services. It is the latest sign of consolidation in the ITAD sector, where large waste and records-management firms have been buying smaller specialist providers.
