Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Fil Fest begins Friday at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, offering a full weekend of music and cultural programming celebrating Filipino heritage. The festival draws the local Filipino-American community and visitors for live performances, food and cultural showcases, adding to the city's busy slate of oceanfront events.

The 70th annual Boardwalk Art Show presented by the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art is taking place on the Virginia Beach boardwalk. The milestone edition of the long-running outdoor exhibition draws artists and visitors to the oceanfront, continuing a tradition that has been a fixture of the region's cultural calendar for seven decades.
