An amateur astrophotographer has released a new image of Saturn, taken just days after a previous attempt and using a Baader IR-Pass 685nm filter for the first time. The shot was made with a Vixen VC200L telescope and a QHY 5-III-462C camera, combining an infrared luminance channel with native RGB colour data. Space enthusiasts have been sharing the result, praising the level of detail in the ringed planet's appearance.
