Walker Evans

Sydney Roosters halfback Sam Walker has left the club, with the decision drawing attention after the Roosters stood firm over his contract terms. Manly captain Daly Cherry-Evans publicly backed the Roosters' stance, saying the club put 'club before individual' in its handling of the negotiations. The exit leaves a notable gap in the Roosters' playmaking ranks.
